The head chef Armando is almost born into the Italian kitchen as he his entire childhood came in his fathers restaurant at Sicily, where he already became head chef as a teenager before he went to Denmark.
They opened an Italian restaurant at the habour of Dragør, but they closed it in 2014 in order to go to the north Italian city Bolzano where they opened Ristorante L’Imperatore in a house where the Emperor Joseph has once lived. Italianknown will maybe see that the name L’Imperatore means emperor. L’Imperatore o Bolzano is still running, but it is managed by Armandos sister today, after Armando has come back to Denmark, where he controls pots and pans at L’Imperatore at Østerbro.
